When you create a new data item, it is initialized with a simple template (in which ‘...’ indicates content that you should normally fill in) as a reminder of the format expected. Creation of the data item is confirmed, and you can then edit the item immediately.

You cannot create a data item with the same name as a Wiki page or a Reference, as it would be ‘hidden’ by that page or reference.
