Against each topic may be one or more of the following attributes:

• local – the topic is only visible on this machine (the MemoWiki server for this topic is running here)
• snapshot – a static snapshot of the topic has been built (click the word ‘snapshot’ to view it)
• snapshot only – the topic has no editable files (e.g., the MemoWiki documentation)
• publishable – the topic has been set up for publishing to an Internet server (click the word ‘publishable’ to update the snapshot ready for publishing).

If you are a local user (are on the same machine as the server) or are an administrator, there will be an Add Topic button at the bottom of the list; you can start a new topic by clicking on that button.
